️ A hybrid show: A new live recording and revisiting a Techno New Year's Eve!

Details:

First off, a live recording from December 9th in the intimate Cellar Lounge of the London Music Club.

️ Charles (Chuck) Zurbrigg and Jim Benoit started coming to LMC's Open Mic with DëRoK quite a while ago. Jim had a wealth of original music that he and his brother had written years ago but never did anything with. The appreciative audience at the LMC gave him the confidence to bring that music back to life. It's much the same story with Charles, a bassist, but also a songwriter. He started playing his songs solo on the bass and, after a few appearances on the open stage, collaborated with some of the other musicians there (a unique feature of DeRoK's open stage).

Tonight's recording is of Chuck and Jim's first event of their own, and both with accompaniment.

️ For the remainder of the show, we'll revisit the Techno New Year's Eve 2016 dance party held at the London Ukrainian Centre. There was wonderful art, great light show and amazing beats. A good time was had by all
