of new and old field recordings featuring classical, jazz, opera and
contemporary acoustic music.

from St. James Westminster Anglican Church in Wortley Village.
Father Michael
Bruce presided over the Service. Stephen Holowitz played the pipe organ
accompanied by soloist Paul Grambo, The St. James Westminster Choir and
the congregation.
First up I have a new field recording for
The London Community Orchestra who invited me to record their 2026/2027
season of four performances.
This October 25th concert featured Dr. Kyung Kim, a Professor at Western University's Music
Faculty playing a piano concerto by Robert Schumann.
Next you'll hear another new field
recording from Lunchtime Live concert featuring John Sherwood on grand
piano and Rob Stone on various trombones playing some great jazz! It
was held at noon on Tuesday, October 27th... and there was actual lunch!
Next up, a Radio Free London Reprise from
October 24, 2022.
I featured the return after two and a half years since the beginning of
the Covid pandemic of The Opera Pub at
Storm Stayed Brewing Company put on by students and recent graduates
from the Music faculty of Western University.
Their goal is
to bring the centuries old genre to down to Earth and to the masses in
a most unlikely place, a craft beer pub!
Each piece was
accompanied by a short 'spainer of its history and
storyline, especially important for those ones in different languages.

You'll
